CLEARSK™ has introduced a new technique of non-surgical breast enchancement, using injectable soft tissue fillers called Macrolane. This filler was developed by the Swedish Medical product company, Q-med, manufacturer of Restylane, specifically for the breasts.
MACROLANE®
Has 2 effects on the breasts:
- Modest enlargement- up to 1 cup size enlargement
- Firms, shapes and tones the breasts, good for small breasts and post pregnancy.
If you fit this description and desire one or both this effects and prefer a non-surgical method to enhance your breasts then you may be a suitable candidate for this procedure.
Indications:
- Healthy skin and breast tissue tone
- Modest small breasts
- For half to one cup size enlargement
- Not keen for surgical implants
Contra-indications:
- Very poor skin and breast tissue tone
- History of breast cancers
- Suspected or known breast diseases
- Allergy to Hyaluronic acid
Most will need between 50 to 100 cc per breast.
This will achieve half to one cup size improvement.
The final volume will depend on the patient desires and the doctor’s judgment.
The fillers is injected under local anaesthesia. The patient is given a light sedative lasting about 30-60 minutes.
Post procedure
You will notice swelling and slight bruising which should subside after a week. You might be given light pain control.
You can wear a soft bra without wires immediately. Avoid lying prone (with face facing down) and breast massage for one month.
Light exercise may be resumed after one week.
The results are immediate. Some resorption of the fillers may occur from 6th to 12th month.
By 12th month about 30% may have dissolved. Another treatment can be done at this point, either to replenish what is lost or for further addition for upsizing.
This filler does not affect mammogram checks and does not increase the incidence of breast diseases such as breast cancers.
You can still get pregnant and breast feed after this procedure.
