- When can I expect to see results?
Most people see gradual improvement over the course of treatment.
- How many treatments are needed?
Triniti® saves time compared to other treatment programs by offering skin tightening, texture refinement, and pigment correction per visit. Typically 3-6 sessions are recommended.
- How long is the treatment duration?
Each session takes about 40-60 minutes and are spaced 3-4 weeks apart.
Collagen / Scar Rejuvenation
- How does it work?
To achieve the best possible results, the energy, whether Laser * or light, should be delivered below the skin to achieve collagen remodelling without overheating or damaging the top layer of the skin.
eMatrix™ Sublative Rejuvenation performs fractionated sublative damage to the skin surface to induce new skin formation without excessively damaging most of the top layer of the skin. At the same time it uses fractionated bi-polar radio frequency to penetrate through the skin--sending more energy beneath the surface of the skin to really maximize collagen production
- How many treatments do I need?
Each patient's treatment protocol will vary depending on individual needs and results desired. Most patients are recommended to receive three treatments, each spaced 3 to 6 weeks apart. For severe and extensive depressed scars, more sessions about 5-6 sessions may be needed.
- When can I expect to see results?
Patients will begin to see results after the first treatment and results will continue to improve up to one year after the course of treatments. Because this treatment works to rebuild collagen, there are no limitations on how long the results last. However, skin ageing will still continue based on our own biological clock, genetics and lifestyle. Therefore, maintenance treatments for rejuvenation are recommended after one year to maintain and further enhance current results.
- Who is suitable for this treatment?
Sublative Rejuvenation is the only fractional treatment that can be used on all skin types. However, some skin conditions (such as eczema and active skin infections) may prohibit patients from receiving the treatment.
Consult our Doctor to determine if Sublative Rejuvenation is right for you.
- What should I expect during and after the treatment?
Sublative Rejuvenation with eMatrix™ is very tolerable unlike other fractional lasers. During treatment, many patients feel a warm, prickly sensation. After treatment, a pink or red “sunburn” appearance and feeling is common.
Topical anaesthetic ointments and cooling can be used to reduce unpleasant sensations during treatment. An antiseptic moisturizer should be used for one week and our doctors would also recommend our signature post treatment products for faster and better recovery
Botox *
- What is it used for?
While the most popular usage is for wrinkle-reduction, its effect on nerve transmission has expanded its use to beyond that of the cosmetics. Botox * has already been approved for treatment of various neurological disorders, and several clinical trials explore further on the medicinal potential of Botox * . Links between Botox * and reduced frequency of headaches have also been established from patient data.
- Is it safe?
The answer is, yes, Botox * injections are safe, if and only if they are the Botox * brand manufactured by Allergen. Since its first use in 1989, no permanent side effects have been reported. The only side effects are temporary soreness and minor bruising, which is inevitable since it is after all an injection. These will not disrupt the patient's schedules and appointments.
The safety of the injections and the cosmetic result also depends on the physician's skill and judgment. Botox * must thus be administered by reliable physicians, Our Doctors are definitely well trained to conduct the procedure giving you a soft natural look that people around you need not know you just had it.
- How long does the results last?
Results are obvious in just a few days. Botox * can last up to four months, with follow-up and maintenance treatments twice or thrice a year. Additional treatments actually prolong the smoothening effects so that re-visits to your doctor gradually become less frequent.
- Will my lines get worse if I do not continue the treatment?
The result wears off gradually after about 4-6 months. The expression lines will slowly return to the pre-treatment condition and will not worsen.
- What post-treatment care is required?
Avoid rubbing vigorously or massaging the treated area as well as extreme heat like sauna. Our Doctors will also teach you how to exercise the facial muscles of the treated area to help enhance the response of Botox * at the targeted muscles.
Fillers *
- What is HA Filler * ?
HA Fillers * are made of Hyaluronic acid (HA), which is a naturally occurring polysaccharide (sugar) present in most tissues of the human body. The average adult human body contains 7-8g of HA; approximately half of which is found in the skin, where it plays a vital role in maintaining normal skin structure and function.
- How does HA retain the skin's youth?
Water in our skin cells promotes skin turgor and elasticity. As ageing process occurs, our body metabolism slows down and its ability to produce its own hyaluronic acid, collagen and other essential components for youthful skin are compromised.
Injection of HA into our skin is an additional aid to our cells to stimulate collagen, and it also provides the adequate moisture level needed by the cells for a younger looking skin.
- Is it safe?
Yes it is. HA is naturally found in the skin thus not considered a foreign particle by our cells. HA Fillers * are akin to supplements. ClearSK™ uses HA derived from non-animal sources and are non-toxic.
- How long does the procedure take?
It takes about 30 minutes and you may resume your normal activity right after.
- How long does the results last?
The effects are long term, for over a year. Touch-up and follow-up treatments are convenient and need only be at 6-8 months intervals.
- What are the things I need to take note after the treatment?
You need to avoid extreme heat like sauna or hot showers. You will also be taught of the massage technique to help stabilize the Fillers * on the treated area. Our Doctors will advise you of some post treatment care to prolong the effect and benefits of HA.
COLLAGEN Filler * / SCULPTRA
- How does Collagen Filler * work?
Sculptra is a potent collagen stimulator to restore younger looking skin. A non-invasive, non-surgical face lift alternative to surgical facelift. It consists of injectable material containing poly-L-lactic acid derived from fruit acids that stimulates the body to produce its own collagen:
Helps smooth the skin while maintaining natural facial expression.
Smoothens deep lines, wrinkles and assists in restoring volume loss.
Gradual and natural improvements are observed after each session as it continues to produce collagen to thicken the skin and fill in the depths of wrinkles.
Sculptra provides longer lasting results that can last up to 2 years
- How long does the Collagen Filler * procedure take?
It takes about 30 minutes and you may resume to your normal activity right after.
- Is Collagen Filler * safe?
Yes it is. The main ingredient of Sculptra has been used in medicine for over 10 years and is bio-compatible and bio-degradable naturally absorbed by the body.
- How soon will I see the result of Collagen Filler * ?
Some effects are noticeable after the first treatment. More visible results occur 4-6 weeks after the procedure as your body starts producing more collagen.
- How many treatments are required for Collagen Filler * ?
This varies in individual but generally about 2-3 treatments are required to achieve the desired results. The effects are long term which can last up to 2 years.
- What are the things I need to take note after the Collagen Filler * treatment?
You need to avoid extreme heat like sauna or hot showers. Our Doctors will also teach you the massage techniques which you have to perform for the first 5 days after treatment.
- Who are suitable candidates for Collagen Filler * ?
Patients who show ageing signs such as Fine Lines and Wrinkles
Patients who show Facial Volume Depletion such as sunken eye circles, sunken cheeks etc.
Pixel Laser *
- How does it work
It works by creating thousands of microscopic perforations, but the skin around each of these perforations remains intact. This allows your skin's top layer to heal from the edge of these tiny holes very rapidly, which significantly improves your complexion.
Pixel Laser * passes through patented optics to penetrate the skin with tiny thermal channels, only as deep as a few sheets of paper. In each channel it creates a micro-injury (15-20% of treatment area). These micro-injury sites start the process of healing. It stimulates collagen remodelling which tightens skin and improves scar. The healthy skin around the treatment site also helps the skin to recover faster.
- How many treatments will I need?
At least 4-6 sessions are recommended and depending on severity. Our Doctors are available to further assess your skin to tailor a treatment plan for every skin condition.
- Who is suitable for this treatment?
Pixel Laser * can be performed in all skin types even for dark skin tone. The best candidates are those with moderate acne, acne scarring and sun damaged skin.
- What should I expect during and after the treatment?
You may experience a sunburn sensation and likely to continue after the treatment. These symptoms are a normal part of the healing process and should improve quickly. You can expect your skin to be flushed and red after the treatment. Post-treatment instructions will be provided to aid your faster recovery.
Pigment Laser *
- How does it work
Melanin is a substance present in our body that determines our skin colour whether fair or dark complexion. However, the concern is when melanin is abnormally concentrated in one area, giving rise to what is commonly known as pigmentation.
Laser * removes pigmented lesions with the energy of very short-pulsed light. Pigmentation is reduced or removed when the Laser * light is absorbed by the excessive amount of melanin under the skin. Hence, you will achieve a fairer and more even complexion. The Laser * beam also stimulates new collagen growth in the deep layer of the skin. Thus, it rejuvenates and tightens the skin.
- How many treatments will I need?
Most common pigmented lesions can be removed with less than 3 sessions. However, if the pigmentation covers a large area, you may prefer to have it treated on several stages to avoid unnecessary discomfort.
- Will pigmentation return?
Common pigmentation does not. Though some birthmarks may return after a period of several months to a year, the procedure can be repeated with similar results.
- What should I expect during and after the treatment?
Pigment Laser * is not painful. The sensation is akin to the snap of a thin rubber band and you may experience warm sensation during and after the procedure. Any discomfort usually goes away within few hours. Occasionally, there may be pinpoint bleeding due to pigment breakdown associated with the treatment.
- What are the post treatment care?
Avoiding strong sunlight and a good sunscreen protection is highly recommended. Treated area should be kept clean but exfoliators or facial scrubs should be avoided for at least 7 days. Post treatment kit will be prescribed to enhance treatment process and provide necessary protection.
Clinical IPL
- How does it work
Intense pulses of light are sent through the outer layer of the skin (epidermis) and energy is concentrated on the deeper layer (dermis). The blemishes absorb the light and the heat energy breaks down the blemishes into minute particles. These particles are then absorbed into the blood stream eliminated through the lymphatic system. It also stimulates cells in the dermis to produce new collagen which plumps out the complexion, smoothing it out and ridding it of fine lines creating a more youthful-looking skin.
- How many treatments will I need?
For most skin types, maximum long-lasting results are achieved with a total of 5 to 6 treatments, with a 3-week interval between each treatment. In some cases, the person will notice a 'glow' and smoother complexion as early as after the first treatment.
- Who is suitable for this treatment?
Most people are suitable except for the very dark-skinned or recently tanned individual. A doctor's consultation is mandatory before starting IPL.
- What should I expect during and after the treatment?
You may feel warm and tingling sensation during the procedure but the built-in cooling chiller tip will aid your comfort.
There are very minimal side effects; no downtime and hardly any interruption to the person's routine. Some cases may have transient mild burning sensation, temporary flushing, slight bruising and discolouration of the skin.
- How long does the procedure take?
Each session takes about 30 minutes.
RF Tightening
- How does it work
RF works by heating the deeper layer of the dermis to stimulate collagen growth and contraction. By doing so it avoids damaging the superficial layer of the skin. This results in tighter, younger looking skin.
- What is the procedure like?
All metallic accessories such as chains, earrings and watch should be removed from the body before starting RF.
RF hand piece is applied to the face or body evenly so that the RF energy is evenly transmitted to the deeper part of the face. Each session lasts about 20 minutes. Cooling of the face is performed at the same sitting.
- How many treatments will I need?
A total of 6 sessions are recommended to achieve the desired effects.
- Which part of the face and body can be treated?
RF can be done on any part of the face including forehead, around the eyes, skin folds around nose and mouth as well as jawline. It can also treat most common parts of the body that need firming and toning such as neck, arms, tummy and thighs.
- Who is suitable for this treatment?
RF is suitable for anyone who feels time is taking a toll on their skin. However, people with electronic or metal implants such as pacemakers, individuals suffering from metabolic disorders, severe skin infections and allergies are strongly encouraged to consult with our Doctors for further assessment.
- What should I expect during and after the treatment?
Most patients experience mild flushing and warm sensation during the treatment. Patients are able to resume to their normal activities. Any redness or slight swelling should disappear in a few hours.
- How long can the results last?
It varies among individuals as ageing process is influenced by several factors, but based on normal skin ageing, it can last from 12 to 24 months.
SK Aqua Peel
- Is it painful?
SK Aqua Peel is a very comfortable and soothing treatment. Furthermore there is no downtime, you can resume to normal activities after every treatment.
- What is the difference with microdermabrasion using crystals?
SK Aqua Peel eliminates the risk and health concerns of aluminum-based crystals associated with particulate abrasion. Aqua Peel also uses unique Spiral Tip allowing maximum infusion of chemical peel with minimum wastage.
- When can I see the results?
Visible results after first treatment. Lasting and more significant results will be seen after 4 to 6 treatments spaced 7 to 10 days apart.
SK Whitening
- What to expect during and after procedure?
You may experience mild tingling warm sensation and flushing of skin.
- Who is not suitable for this treatment?
Individuals with acute eczema, inflammatory skin disease, kojic and ascorbic acid allergies as well as history of reactions with microdermabrasion are advised to see our Doctors for further skin assessment.
Chemical Peel
- Who is suitable for Chemical Peel?
Generally, fair-skinned and light-haired patients are ideal candidates for chemical peels. Darker skin types may also have good results, depending upon the type of problem being treated.
- How Are Chemical Peels performed?
A chemical peel can be performed in a doctor's office as an outpatient procedure. The skin is thoroughly cleansed with an agent that removes excess oils and the eyes and hair are protected. One or more chemical solutions, such as glycolic acid, trichloroacetic acid, salicylic acid, lactic acid or carbolic acid (phenol), are applied to small areas on the skin. These applications produce a controlled wound, enabling new, regenerated skin to appear.
- Are there things I need to take note before I do Chemical Peel?
Prior to the chemical peel, your doctor may ask you to stop taking certain drugs and prepare your skin with topical preconditioning medications such as Retin-A, Renova, or glycolic acid. After the chemical peel, it's important to use a broad-spectrum sunscreen every day.
It is also important for a patient to inform the physician of any past history of keloids (scar tissue overgrowth created at the site of a skin injury) or unusual scarring tendencies, as well as any history of x-rays treatments to the face or recurring cold sores.
If you have been prescribed oral antibiotics or an oral antiviral medicine, you should begin taking those as directed. Typically, the oral antibiotics are prescribed depending on the depth of the chemical peel.
- What to Expect During the Procedure?
Most patients experience a warm to somewhat hot sensation that lasts about five to ten minutes, followed by a stinging sensation. Cool compresses may be applied to help alleviate this stinging. A deeper peel may require pain medication during or after the procedure.
- What to Expect After the Chemical Peel?
Depending upon the type of chemical peel, a reaction similar to sunburn occurs following the procedure. Peeling usually involves redness, followed by scaling that ends within three to seven days. Mild peels may be repeated at one to four-week intervals until the desired clinical effect is achieved.
Medium-depth and deep peeling may result in swelling, as well as the presence of water blisters that may break, crust, turn brown and peel off over a period of seven to 14 days. Medium-depth peels may be repeated in six to twelve months, if necessary.
You will work with your dermatologist to determine the depth of your peel. This joint decision can vary, depending upon the condition of your skin and the objectives of treatment.
It is important to avoid over-exposure to the sun after a chemical peel since the new skin is fragile and more susceptible to complications. Our Doctors will prescribe the proper follow-up care to reduce the tendency of developing abnormal skin colour after peeling.
- What are the possible complications of Chemical Peels?
In certain skin types, there is a risk of developing a temporary or permanent colour change in the skin. Taking birth control pills, subsequent pregnancy or family history of brownish discolouration on the face may increase the possibility of developing abnormal pigmentation.
Although low, there is a risk of scarring in certain areas of the face, and certain individuals may be more prone to scarring. If scarring does occur, it can usually be treated with good results.
There is a small risk of reactivation of cold sores in patients with a history of herpes outbreaks. This problem is treated with medication as prescribed by the dermatologic surgeon. Your doctor may also choose to give you medication before or immediately after the peel in order to prevent a herpes outbreak.
Photodynamic Therapy
- What is PDT Red light?
PDT red light is known to improve skin rejuvenation and helps prevent photo ageing. It helps improve skin tone and smoothness and promotes healing before ablative laser resurfacing or other aggressive skin treatments. Red light targets specific cells which are responsible for promoting repair of the skin's structures.
- What is PDT Blue light?
PDT Blue light helps in acne therapy and may use alternately with red light to clear up a problem skin. Blue light therapy works by destroying acne-causing bacteria responsible for causing acne. Red light has anti-inflammatory properties to soothe active inflamed acne. Consequently, substances are then released that induce fibroblasts and growth factors.
- Who are suitable to this treatment?
Due to its gentleness yet effectiveness, most people are suitable to this treatment. People with light sensitivity or light phobia must undergo this treatment with caution.
- What is it like?
The face is thoroughly cleansed and dried and adequate eye protection is applied onto the eyes. The face or body is then exposed to the light for about 20 minutes.
- How often should I do this?
PDT light can be performed once to twice a week for best result for at least 6-10 sessions
- Can I combine this with other treatments?
PDT can be performed with other treatments such as Microdermabrasion, lasers, IPL, or even more aggressive resurfacing treatments as it promoted healing and supplements most treatment. It can be done on its own or combine with other treatments.
SK Clinical Facials
- How is it different from normal facials?
SK Ionto Ultrasonic Facial has 3 distinctive methods to hydrate and makes your skin fairer and more radiant.
SKIN SCRUBBER provides deep-cleaning and exfoliation on all skin types without causing redness or irritation, even on sensitive or mature skin, acne or rosacea. It uses Low Frequency Ultrasound wave of 28,000 cycles per second promoting removal of dead cell, excess sebum, make-up residues and other harmful substances from the Stratum Corneum.
IONTOPHORESIS is a method of transdermal local drug delivery using electrical current. A charged ionic drug is placed on the skin with an electrode of the same charge, allowing direct current to drive the drug into the skin. It uses Pulsed Galvanic Current of 0.3mA for deep penetration of L-Ascorbic acid into the skin to treat melasma and other pigmented lesion.
SONOPHORESIS acts by temporarily reducing the density of lipids in the intercellular domain of the bi-layers. This effectively open up the intracellular pathways, allowing substances with high molecular weights a higher degree of penetration. Use sound waves to deliver vitamins A, C and E into the skin and ensure optimum penetration. It also improves skin texture and skin laxity by using micro-massage and ultrasonic heating.
- What is the benefit of Microdermabrasion?
With the cornified layer scrubbed away, medical lotions and moisturizers are also more readily absorbed into the deeper layers of skin. It stimulates new cell growth and helps remove various visible imperfections.
- Is it painful?
Microdermabrasion is painless and offers quick recovery within one day and causes little or no redness. Hence, it will not disrupt your schedule and appointments.

Depending on the hair re-growth cycle, you can return 4-6 weeks for the next session.
- Can I still shave or wax in between?
Contrary to common beliefs, shaving does not cause the hair to grow thicker. It merely appears thicker as we are looking at the mid-shaft of each hair shaft. Therefore you can shave if it is necessary in between your sessions. However you should stop shaving 3 days prior to your appointment to allow the melanin in the shaft to absorb the light pulses during treatments. Waxing is not adviseable during hair removal treatments. But if you need to then you have to wax minimum 1 week prior to your appointment.
- Is IPL hair removal permanent?
IPL hair removal targets the deeply seated hair follicles and permanently damage them as opposed to shaving, waxing, hair removal creams which only serve to remove the hair shaft. Unless you have gone through hormonal imbalances caused by pregnancy, menopause, intake of hormone pills, most people enjoy permanent hair reduction/removal.
