The Beauty of a VelaShape Treatment
How to prepare for VelaShape™ treatment:
- Have a light meal 2 hours prior to starting treatment.
- Avoid intake of aspirin or related drugs, as they may make you more prone to bruises after the rollers-vacuum massage and drainage.
- Avoid coming just before or during your period, as your body may be more pain-sensitive during this period.
Possible side effects:
- Some ladies who bruise easily may prefer to lower the power of the vacuum suction and massage - but most enjoy the deep tissue massage of VelaShape™/ VelaSmooth™.
- If you have sensitive and dry skin, apply thick layers of moisturizing creams regularly before and after treatment. Alternatively, you may consider other machines for cellulite - the Accent Ultra.
Treatment Frequency – 5 to 10 weekly sessions per zone, depending on the grade of the cellulite.

The emission of ultrasounds on the skins external surface produces pressure changes in the interstitial fluid of the adipose tissue, generating microbubbles (cavities) that first implode and then burst. This exceedingly high pressure destroys the fat cells. The fat content of these cells are fragmented and are naturally eliminated through the urinary and lymphatic systems.

Treatment Duration
Each Ultracavitation session has lasts for 30 to 45 minutes depending on the areas treated. It is applied directly onto the skin, after applying a conducting gel. Once the Ultracavitation application is finished, an intense Pressotherapy or Endermology drainage is recommended for at least 10 to 15 minutes. For faster results pretreatment injection of saline into the treatment is needed.
We usually recommend 2 sessions for low to moderate fat reduction. More may be needed for larger fat volume reduction.
