FAQ

Who is suitable for this procedure?
Candidate must have healthy skin and breast tissue tone. An individual with modest small breasts and hoping for a half to one cup size enlargement but not keen for surgical implants is an ideal candidate for this procedure.

Who is not suitable for this procedure?
This procedure is not recommended for those who have very poor skin and breast tissue tone, history of breast cancers, suspected or known breast diseases and those with known allergy to Hyaluronic acid.

How much volume of Fillers * is needed?
Most will need between 50 to 100 cc per breast. This will achieve half to one cup size improvement. The final volume will depend on the patient's desire and the doctor’s judgement.

Is it painful?
The Fillers * are injected under local anaesthesia. The patient is given a light sedative lasting about 30-60 minutes.

What is expected after the procedure and things to take note of?
You will notice swelling and slight bruising which should subside after a week. You might be given light pain control. You can wear a soft bra without wires immediately. Avoid lying prone (with face facing down) and breast massage for one month. Light exercise may be resumed after one week.

When can I see the result?
The results are immediate. Some resorption of the Fillers * may occur from 6th to 12th month. By 12th month about 30% may have dissolved. Another treatment can be done at this point, either to replenish what is lost or for further addition for upsizing.

Is it safe?
This Filler * does not affect mammogram checks and does not increase the incidence of breast diseases such as breast cancers. You can still get pregnant and breast feed after this procedure.
