How does the New SkinTightener Work?SkinTightener's proprietary focus wave technology penetrates through the sub-dermal and dermal layers to stimulate collagen in the connective tissues of the skin. Initial collagen denaturation within these thermally modified deep tissues is thought to be the mechanism for immediate tissue contraction; subsequent neocollagenesis and further tightening of the dermal tissue and wrinkle reduction. The results are an improvement after the first treatment in many cases.

How does it work?
RF works by heating the deeper layer of the dermis to stimulate collagen growth and contraction. By so doing it avoids damaging the superficial layer of the skin. This results in tighter, younger looking skin.
Which part of the face and body can be treated?RF can be used for
- Face : BROW lift, lightening of Naso-labial fold, around the eyes, eyebag reduction, angle of the mouth
- Body : Neck firming, body firming and tummy toning
Who is not a suitable candidate for RF?Those with electronic implants such as pace maker, metal implants, severe skin allergies and infections, severe metabolic diseases. Please see our doctor for a consultation to assess your suitability.
What does it entail?RF hand piece is applied to the face or body evenly so that the RF energy is evenly transmitted to the deeper part of the face. Each session lasts about 20 minutes. Cooling of the face is performed at the same sitting. A total of 6 sessions are recommended to achieve the desired effects.
What are the preparations needed?All metallic accessories such as chains, earrings and watch should be removed from the body before starting RF.
What are the side effects?Minimal- Most people can go back to work the same day. Mild side effects include redness, slight swelling, warm sensation.
How long can the results last?It differs from individual to individual, but based on normal skin aging, it can last from 12 to 24 months.
What are the other alternatives to RF face-lift?Fillers injection, Meso-lift, Meso-botox, plastic surgery.RF can also be combined with IPL or Nd Yag Laser to lighten skin pigmentation.
